Sunday afternoon was so nice that we decided to float part of the Deschutes near Sunriver. Seven of us packed up and headed out. The girls pumped up the rafts while the boys shuttled the cars to the take out point. There is a nice current going, so you don't have to paddle if you don't want to, and the river is still high and cold. There are no rapids to speak of where we were, but the float was nice and relaxing. Some of us are a nice shade of lobster, even though we bathed in sunscreen.
A side note: Curt's mom recently had a bone tumor removed and we just found out it is NOT cancerous! Praise the Lord!
